Humagne blanc, Cave Caprice du temps

Grand Prix du Vins Suisses Gold medal winner, Humagne blanc from cave Caprice du temps is a fine wine, subtle, pleasant and stimulating.

The Humange Blanc varietal is one of the only grape varietals native to Valais. My father-in-law, Hugues Clavien, is infamous for his rendition of this wine. It also happens to be his favourite and he is often heard saying: “Humange Blanc: toute la nuit, toute la vie!” (Humange Blanc: all night long, all life long). Because this wine contains more iron than other varietals, this wine is called wine of birth and legend says women should drink this wine after pregnancy to help restore their iron levels (in moderation of course!).
