
Today, our #FoodieAdventCalendar, foodie member Ruth Lang shares her favourite recipe for cinnamon stars. “It’s basically Zimtstern with candied peel and lemon zest. My favourite version of Zimtstern and really any version of the Swiss cookies I’ve tried.
“Note on making the cookies: without a cookie cutter that opens to release the cookies, the only way I found to get it out of the cookie cutter without smashing the meringue on top was to push from the bottom and take it out of the top of the cookie cutter (close-up photo).
