Start your adventure with a guided hike through picturesque alpine pastures, where you’ll encounter the famous Hérens cows and learn about the history and traditions of life at the alpage. After a scenic 1-2 hour walk, you’ll be rewarded with a delicious brunch in an authentic mountain shelter, surrounded by breathtaking views.
The brunch features local specialities, including alpine cheeses, homemade bread and jams, fresh milk straight from the farm, and locally crafted apple juice from Grand Entremont. This idyllic experience ends with a return hike to Brunet, where a shuttle awaits in the afternoon.

Buvette de Pindin: An Alpine Experience with Family Roots
Nestled at 2,300 meters in the breathtaking Val de Bagnes, the Buvette de Pindin offers an authentic taste of Swiss mountain culture. Operated by Marc and Christèle, who are part of our extended family, this buvette combines rustic charm with heartfelt hospitality.
Marc and Christele take pride in serving regional delicacies, such as raclette prepared over a wood fire, showcasing the rich culinary traditions of the Alps. Open during the summer months, the Buvette de Pindin is a haven for hikers, offering panoramic views and an immersive connection to the alpine pastures and mountain lakes.
Visiting the buvette is not just about savoring delicious food—it’s about sharing a piece of family heritage and embracing the authentic spirit of the Swiss Alps.

- You must be able to walk a minimum 8 km over the course of the day.
- Please be on time for departure.
Bad weather?
If the weather’s not too bad, the outing goes ahead, but we modify the program if necessary.
If the weather is very bad and the outing could be cancelled, and we refund any prepayment (minus the transaction fees).
