These General Conditions of Sale (hereinafter GTC) apply to all purchases of products or services of EdibleSwitzerland. By confirming your booking or purchase, you declare that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms without reservation.
EdibleSwitzerland reserves the right to modify these terms & conditions without notice; modifications do not apply retroactively to confirmed bookings.

GENERAL TERMS OF SERVICE
Definition And Acceptances
These terms and conditions are subject to Swiss law and the Swiss standards in force. By the sole fact of validating your order on this Site, you declare to have read, understood and accepted without reservation the terms of these terms and conditions.
EdibleSwitzerland reserves the right to modify these terms & conditions without notice, it being understood that the modifications do not apply retroactively to orders already placed.

Prices
All prices are in Swiss francs.
Payments for products/events/tours/experiences
We accept payments by TWINT and credit cards through eCommerce on this website. We can send invoices according to the participants’ preferences and accept payment by IBAN.
Eligibility
EdibleSwitzerland’s products, services & experiences are intended for adults. Due to the length of the event, the family-style service, and out of respect for all of our guests, participants must be 18 years of age to participate. Additionally, participants may not bring animals of any sort.
The Services are not targeted toward or intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you (a) are 18 years of age or older, (b) are a legal resident of Switzerland and have full power and authority to enter into these Terms and in so doing will not violate any other agreement to which you are a party.
Summary
- Deposits are required to confirm bookings.
- Cancellations are charged based on notice period; last-minute or no-shows are non-refundable.
- Refunds for public events are limited; shop purchases of perishables are non-returnable.
- Participation is at your own risk.
- By booking or purchasing through EdibleSwitzerland, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
Corporate & Private Group Events
Prices: All in CHF, excl. VAT (8.1%).
Deposit: 50% due at confirmation. Balance due within 5 days post-event.
Final Guest Count: Confirmed at least 5 days prior. Prices may adjust accordingly.
Cancellation:
- 7+ days before: 50% of total
- 3–6 days before: 70% of total
- <3 days before: 100% of total
Force Majeure: Events postponed, not refunded, if affected by circumstances beyond our control.
Media: Photos/videos may be used for promotional purposes unless objection is stated at event start.
Liability: Participation at own risk. EdibleSwitzerland is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
👉 While these terms apply, EdibleSwitzerland works in good faith with clients to find fair solutions and do the right thing where possible.
Public Group Experiences (Ticketed Events, Tours & Workshops)
Payment: 100% due at booking.
Cancellation:
48+ hrs before: refund minus processing/commission fees.
24–48 hrs before: 25% fee + processing/commission fees.
<24 hrs / no-show: no refund.
Dining/special events: non-refundable, tickets transferable.
Transfers: Allowed with 24h notice.
Weather: Rain or shine unless unsafe; tickets valid for rescheduled date. No refunds.
Eligibility: 18+ for wine events (16+ tastings). No minors unless specified.
Risk: Participation at own risk; outdoor activities may involve physical effort.
Media: Consent given for promotional use of images/audio/video.
Waiver: Guests release EdibleSwitzerland from liability for injuries, illness, or losses, except gross negligence.
👉 While these conditions apply, EdibleSwitzerland acts in good faith and will do its best to find fair alternatives where reasonable.
E-Boutique (Online Shop & Subscriptions)
Prices: CHF, excl. VAT.
Payment: TWINT, credit card, or IBAN transfer.
Shipping: Costs shown at checkout. Delivery in Switzerland only (unless otherwise stated).
Returns:
- Perishables (food, wine): no returns/refunds.
- Non-perishables: return within 14 days, unused, in original packaging, at buyer’s expense.
- Subscriptions: Auto-renew until cancelled before next billing cycle. No partial refunds.
- Gifts: Non-refundable, not redeemable for cash.
Force Majeure: No refunds for delays beyond our control.
Liability: EdibleSwitzerland not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
👉 These rules apply, but EdibleSwitzerland will always work in good faith with customers to do the right thing.
Risk, Liability & Waiver
Assumption of Risk
Participation in events, tours, and experiences is at your own risk. Activities may involve physical effort, outdoor exposure, food, alcohol, and interaction with other participants. By participating, you confirm that you are in suitable health and know of no medical reason why you should not take part.
Release of Liability
Guests release EdibleSwitzerland, its partners, officers, employees, contractors, and volunteers (the Released Parties) from liability for injuries, illness, property loss, or other damages, except in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct as defined by Swiss law.
Limitation of Liability
EdibleSwitzerland shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including loss of profits or enjoyment), even if advised of the possibility.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EdibleSwitzerland and the Released Parties from any claims, damages, obligations, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your actions, negligence, or behaviour causing harm to another participant or third party.
Consent to Medical Treatment
By participating, you consent that EdibleSwitzerland may, if needed, arrange customary medical assistance, transport, or emergency services through third-party providers. This does not impose a duty on EdibleSwitzerland to provide such services.
Media & Promotional Use
By attending an event, you grant EdibleSwitzerland the right to photograph, record, and otherwise capture your participation. Such material may be used for promotional, educational, commercial, and informational purposes across print, digital, and social media, without geographic or time limitation.
If you do not wish to be included, you must inform EdibleSwitzerland at the start of the event.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Swiss law. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Swiss courts.
