Getting to and from the Dinner in the vineyards event

The exact location of this event is at the Tour de Marsens in the Dezaley appellation in the Lavaux.  Here is a map. Please scroll for parking and public transportation information

Parking for the event

There is NO parking at the event site. It is an historical foundation in the Dézaley appellation (the steepest part of the Lavaux) and as such, it restricts vehicle access to its facilities. If you are arriving by your own car and expect to find parking, please refer to this map as to where to park. These spaces are above the event site. There is a steep walk down to the tower, and subsequently, a steep walk back up.

Here are the GPS coordinates to the available parking:

  • Route de Flonzaley: 46.490423, 6.756696
  • Chemin de tour de Marsens: 46.490116, 6.755738

Using public transportation to arrive and depart from the event

Given that there is limited parking in the area AND we are going to be consuming a bit of wine and other spirits, you can also choose to arrive by train: either at the Gare de Puidoux or the Gare de Chexbres. To me, this is a good option if you would like a short hike before the event. If it is a great day, the views are really spectacular.

If you tell me you are going to arrive by train, for  20 CHF extra per person, I can arrange to have an 8 seat minibus taxi available at the train stations (pick up at a certain time at Chexbres gare, carry on to Puidoux, drop off at event. And the reverse for the return). Please email to tell me if this extra service interests you.
