The Edible Switzerland Calendar of Food & Wine Events (2026)

Plan your trip month by month

Planning a food and wine trip to Switzerland isn’t just about where to go — it’s about when. From spring cellar tastings to harvest celebrations and winter wine fairs, Switzerland’s culinary calendar follows the rhythm of the seasons and the regions.

This calendar brings together the country’s key food and wine events for 2026, organised month by month, to help you plan a trip around what’s happening on the ground. Use it to discover new regions, time your visit with local traditions, and experience Swiss food and wine the way locals do. Plan your trip month by month

About the author and owner: Jen Burke

Travel & experience designer, editor, foodie, digital professional

Hi, I’m Jen. I am a foodie. Which means, I like food and everything around food. I like creating. I like sharing. I especially like creating unique foodie experiences. I am a Canadian-Swiss (who moved to Switzerland in 2010 to marry a Valaisan). Before that, I lived in California wine country (Sonoma/Napa) & Ontario, Canada. But I am from the Yukon Territory in Northern Canada (mile 906.8 Alaska Highway to be exact). I currently live in a pastoral Fribourg village of Bossonnens with that Valaisan husband and two sons.

I am a true wine lover who seeks out the best of each region and indulges in extensive tasting experiences. I host wine experiences in Lavaux and organize experiences in the other wine regions of Switzerland.

Here’s to enjoying and sharing more online and off. Santé! Cheers!
