We were four men on an amazing guided winetour with Jen in Lavaux. Jen was very helpful throughout the planning phase and very flexible in reorganizing the tour when the weather forecast turned out to be unfavourable. We walked through the beautiful landscape and had some exciting wine tastings. The local natural and biodynamic wines were particularly interesting to taste. Moreover, Jen arranged a sumptuous lunch with the best local ingredients and dishes.

Jen planned an amazing day for us in Lavaux wine country. She's very thoughtful in her organizing, providing many options to choose from based in type of hike desired, locations, etc. She's very communicative leading up to the day, and making sure you are armed with the right directions to get to the meeting place and back to your hotel. Walking within the vineyards was such a cool experience, as well as being able to take in such beautiful views and scenery. The wineries are also very "hidden" in little villages, so I don't know how easy it'd be to find them on your own. Also, I know we went to more unique ones off the tourist trail. The wineries are family owned and its a totally different experience visiting them versus US wineries. Definitely bring a sturdy bag or backpack because the wine is so good you'll want to buy some! And like us you'll probably buy at the first winery too (or maybe all) Jen is also super knowledgeable, very interested in food and wine, learning and sharing info about the region. She really enjoys what she does! She gave us lots of recommendations for Lausanne and other parts of Switzerland, and all over the world based on our groups travel plans. We really had such a fun day and if we're back in the area will look her up again! Reach out to her if you will be in the area and like wine, Swiss wine is very unique! You won't regret it.

My husband and I booked the wine tour in lavaux for our honeymoon and it was absolutely amazing! It is a great way to spend the day hiking through the vineyards with a view of lake Geneva. Jen is very knowledgeable about the region and customized our wine tastings to us and what was open the day we toured! We definitely would not have been able to find these trails and tastings on our own. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area!

Jen was excellent at arranging special tastings at three stops (we met the wine makers and leaders at each), and the picnic she prepared and served was icing on the cake. (Lovely meats and cheeses and accompanying fruits and wine!). Finally, to be able to walk through the vineyards and wineries really brings home just how magical the region is. Great experience - highly recommend.

We spent an afternoon with Jen last week, hiking the Lavaux wine region and tasting as we walked. She was wonderful from the first contact, willing to work with us regarding time, level of difficulty, what types of wines we were most interested in, and which wineries she thought would interest us. She prepared a very detailed and elaborate presentation just for us, including history and development of the region, in depth discussion of the wines and their peculiarities, suggestions of where we could visit on our own, and suggestions for other things to do during our stay. Her narration as we hiked was very interesting and she was warm and fun to be with. She also prepared a picnic lunch and brought a grand cru wine for us to drink with it. We had a perfect day and would highly recommend Jen and Edible Switzerland for any activity you’d like to try!

My husband and I had an amazing time on our wine tour of the Lavaux region! We started around 10am and walked to our first tasting of 3 wines. They were all excellent and we enjoyed the views of the region. Then, we walked to our next stop for lunch. Jenn brought a beautiful and delicious spread for lunch: cheeses, meats, nuts, tomatoes, bread, figs, and wine. In addition, the most amazing combination of crackers, cheese, smoked trout, and pickled onions. It was a delicious combination! Then, we walked quite a bit further (thankfully mostly downhill). We stopped along the way to learn about the region, vintners, and their process using a wine cart monorail. We made one more pit stop for another tasting before walking through vineyards, by a waterfall, and then ended in the last location for a final tasting where there were lots of purchasing options. Overall, we had a great day and loved our time on the tour! Jenn was so nice and passionate about the wine, people, and history of this region!

My husband and I did the Wine tasting in Chardonne vineyards tour as part of our honeymoon. We had a fantastic time with Jennifer from Edible Switzerland and it was such a unique experience! We went to two vineyards on this tour - Domaine Ducret and Domaine Neyroud-Fonjallaz. We are from the U.S. and the vineyard experiences are much different there - the ones in Chardonne/Lavaux are much smaller and more private - most winemaking families live on the properties where the wine is made (and many have lived there for multiple generations!). They were happy to have visitors, show us around their wine-making areas, and do wine-tastings for us, but you have to book these tours and tastings in advance, which is where Jennifer came in. I would have had no idea how to book/contact the vineyards. It was also great to have a translator, as most of the winemakers spoke some English, but not with complete fluency. Jennifer is fluent in both English and French (the main language spoken in this area). The views in Lavaux are so incredible! Even in the winter when we went (November 2023). My husband also loved this experience and the wine, and he is typically not much of a wine drinker. 10/10 overall for views, wine, and experience, and not something that would have been a feasible activity for us being from a different country without utilizing Jennifer as a planner, tour guide, and translator. Highly, highly recommend!

My family and I had an awesome winery day trip with Jen and her colleague Dennis in the Swiss wine region of Lavaux. It was a beautiful day spent exploring the region, learning about the wines and enjoying delicious tastings! A wonderful day of wine tasting and walking tour from Grand Lavaux station across the Dezaley terraces down to Rivaz. Jen organized the tour to meet our likes/dislikes… both the wines and our picnic lunch. Had we attempted this on our own, we would have missed so much. As a local, her insights were interesting and her contacts made for great experiences, such as meeting the winemakers. Afterwards she sent us two pages of links and additional info for the remainder of our trip. Highly recommend using Jen as your Lavaux guide!

Driving tour around Switzerland, Italy and France was the highlight of my visit to the region. Unbelievable that I could experience three countries all in one day. The snow-capped mountains, vineyards on the shore of Lac Lemon and countryside scenery were spectacular. I had limited time and this tour was perfect to allow me to experience a small part of this region. My wife and I booked a wine tour with EdibleSwitzerland as part of our 20th wedding anniversary celebrations, and while January is unfortunately out of season for hosted tours, what followed was an experience we will genuinely never forget, entirely thanks to Jennifer. Although Jennifer couldn’t personally host our tour, she went above and beyond by helping us plan the most incredible self-guided wine tour through the stunning Lavaux wine region. From the very beginning, Jennifer was generous with her time, happy to jump on a call to understand our wine preferences, where we were staying, and exactly what we wanted from the day. Her passion for Lavaux and wine was immediately clear. We were staying in Lausanne, and with Jennifer’s guidance we hopped on a train to Puidoux station and followed her carefully prepared directions to our first stop: Gaillard & Fils winery. The weather was absolutely stunning - crisp, with a chill in the air, but bright sunshine throughout the day. On Jennifer’s recommendation, we chose three wines to taste, and they did not disappoint. Despite it being January, we opted to sit outside on the terrace. Jennifer was surprised we braved it, but with the breathtaking views, sunshine, and a mild temperature of around 8°C, it was perfect. In all honesty, we could have stayed there all day and been completely content. From there, Jennifer had suggested moving on for lunch and what a suggestion it was. We walked approximately 1.5km across the Lavaux vineyards to Café Riex, soaking in the incredible scenery along the way. The walk was beautiful and worked up a great appetite. Café Riex is a very traditional restaurant in a small village and clearly popular, booking is highly recommended, especially as they stop serving around 3pm, so planning lunch for around 1pm or earlier is essential. We opted for the chef’s daily special, a three-course lunch that was absolutely fantastic , perfectly balanced, not too filling, but more than enough to fuel the rest of our adventure. Miguel looked after us wonderfully and recommended a lovely bottle of red wine to accompany lunch. We trusted his suggestion, and once again, it did not disappoint. If you ever have the chance to visit Café Riex, I couldn’t recommend it highly enough. Combined with Gaillard & Fils, it was the perfect start to our Lavaux experience. Our final leg of the journey was on foot once more. Jennifer had discussed our walking ability in advance, and we were more than happy to take on a longer walk, a great way to walk off lunch and build anticipation for the final tasting. Armed with another map prepared by Jennifer, we set off through the Lavaux region, passing through charming villages and countless signposted wineries nestled into the hillsides. It would have been so easy to stop at many along the way they all looked wonderfully authentic. Our last stop of the day was Terrasse de Lavaux (Urban Winery). Here, we enjoyed our final tasting of the afternoon, opting for the red wine selection. We were presented with four superb wines, which rounded off the day perfectly. As the terrace itself was closed, we sat indoors, a cosy and fitting end to an incredible journey. What I really want to highlight in this review is our immense appreciation for Jennifer. She took the time to truly understand what we wanted, then carefully created an itinerary that suited our interests, abilities, and the season - and she did all of this free of charge. I even offered to pay for her time, but Jennifer refused, explaining that she simply loves Lavaux and wine and was disappointed she couldn’t host us personally. Instead, she was determined to help us create a day we would love - and she absolutely succeeded. This level of care, generosity, and passion is rare. Jennifer turned what could have been a disappointment into one of the most memorable days of our anniversary trip. Truly top-class service. Our tour of the beautiful terraced vineyards of Lavaux was everything for which we could of hoped. Jennifer put a lot of effort into finding wineries that were open for tasting on the day of our tour. She gave a general overview of the wine industry in Switzerland as we walked amongst the vines between our winery stops. At each stop, we had a tasting of 3-4 wines including the popular Chasselas wines of Switzerland. Each winery shared more about the production of wine at their location. The views were spectacular, the picnic lunch overlooking the lake delicious and the wines amazing. Jennifer was punctual, quick to communicate during the booking process, adapted the day as we went and was a friendly guide. We would highly recommend this tour for those looking for an intimate and personalized tour of this amazing wine region!

Jen wasn't able to take us on a tour the day we needed, but she kindly arranged for our day in advance, including a little video telling us about the trip, an appointment at a gorgeous winery for a tour and a tasting, a reservation at a fabulous restaurant on a spectaular terrace overlooking the mountain and Lake Geneva. She then provided maps for us to hike along the beautiful Lavaux Vineyards with sweeping views for several hours. What a great day!

My husband and I both agreed that this was the best wine tour we have ever taken. It was exceptional! Jen took us to visit 3 amazing wine makers who each made excellent wines and had interesting backgrounds. We have been on many wine tours in other countries and you don’t always get to meet the wine makers so we were delighted we were meeting with the wine makers. Jen is a very charming and kind guide who also introduced us to raclette dining (which I’m obsessed with now) and our picnic lunch was filled with incredible food. She also took extra care and time to bring a beautiful setting for our picnic lunch along the lake. The Lavaux region and its wines is outstanding. Thank you Jen for such a memorable time.
