  • Jen Burke is an exceptional wine tour guide! From start to finish, she made our day truly memorable with her warmth, knowledge, and attention to detail. The itinerary was perfectly... read more balanced—each stop offered something unique, and Jen’s insights into the local wines and history added so much depth to the experience. We especially loved the lunch at Jean Christophe’s, the only vintner in the region that produces natural wines, which was a real highlight. Jen’s passion for wine and the region is contagious. We left not only with wonderful memories but also with a deeper appreciation for the area and its wines. Highly recommended—thank you, Jen, for an unforgettable day! Lia Zürich, Switzerland

We met Jen at our first wine tasting and she was so knowledgeable and kind! She knows the best walking paths and lovely restaurants. Would highly recommend booking a day... read more in Lavaux with edible Switzerland!

  • We spent an afternoon with Jen last week, hiking the Lavaux wine region and tasting as we walked. She was wonderful from the first contact, willing to work with us... read more regarding time, level of difficulty, what types of wines we were most interested in, and which wineries she thought would interest us. She prepared a very detailed and elaborate presentation just for us, including history and development of the region, in depth discussion of the wines and their peculiarities, suggestions of where we could visit on our own, and suggestions for other things to do during our stay. Her narration as we hiked was very interesting and she was warm and fun to be with. She also prepared a picnic lunch and brought a grand cru wine for us to drink with it. We had a perfect day and would highly recommend Jen and Edible Switzerland for any activity you’d like to try!

My husband and I did the Wine tasting in Chardonne vineyards tour as part of our honeymoon. We had a fantastic time with Jennifer from Edible Switzerland and it was... read more such a unique experience! We went to two vineyards on this tour - Domaine Ducret and Domaine Neyroud-Fonjallaz. We are from the U.S. and the vineyard experiences are much different there - the ones in Chardonne/Lavaux are much smaller and more private - most winemaking families live on the properties where the wine is made (and many have lived there for multiple generations!). They were happy to have visitors, show us around their wine-making areas, and do wine-tastings for us, but you have to book these tours and tastings in advance, which is where Jennifer came in. I would have had no idea how to book/contact the vineyards. It was also great to have a translator, as most of the winemakers spoke some English, but not with complete fluency. Jennifer is fluent in both English and French (the main language spoken in this area). The views in Lavaux are so incredible! Even in the winter when we went (November 2023). My husband also loved this experience and the wine, and he is typically not much of a wine drinker. 10/10 overall for views, wine, and experience, and not something that would have been a feasible activity for us being from a different country without utilizing Jennifer as a planner, tour guide, and translator. Highly, highly recommend!
